Sustainable cities require healthy and well-functioning buildings
Buildings
At Sweco, we create attractive and well-functioning buildings that are healthy and safe to live and stay in.
We focus on the developers needs in our role as developer advisor, construction manager or OHS coordinator, and when we are engineering advisors on new builds, conversions and renovations.
We ensure that the construction is well thought out in relation to indoor climate, daylight, acoustics, sustainability, technical installations and fire safety as well as the subsequent building operation. As a leader in integrated consultancy, we work closely with our architects on both public and private buildings.
We have sustainability specialists, consultants and auditors who work with recognized international systems to qualify, measure and certify sustainability.
Sweco is a leader in wooden construction in Europe and has experience with wood as the primary building system in project types such as multi-storey buildings, single-family houses and sports facilities. As part of a Nordic group, we benefit from many years of experience from Norway, Sweden and Finland, including the know-how we have in designing constructions and fire advice in tall wooden buildings.
